MB 500 and 2 Carvin BRX 210s?

I'm interested in buying the GK MB 500 to play through my 2 Carvin BRX 210 cabs, but I just read this in the GK manual:

Maximum Recommended Speaker Loads: One 4 Ohm, or two 8 Ohm cabinets.

My Carvin Cabs are rated for 600w @ 4 Ohms. Does this mean I shouldn't run the MB 500 through both of them?

I'm new to the amp + cab thing (I always have played through combos). So, thanks for your help.

Correct. Two of those cabs would impose a two-ohm load on an amp, and the MB500 isn't spec'd for that load.

If you're looking for a mini head, and not particularly the MB500, the Carvin BX 500 will handle a 2 ohm load, which was its selling point for me being that I have a pair of 4 ohm cabs.

I dig it a lot, as do a great many members here on TB. That little f**ker is pretty LOUD, too. I'm currently using it with a pair of 1x12's, and I bet I can gig that rig in a heavy rock band with no issues.

I've also used it with a single 4-ohm 2x10 and my full rig (2x10 + 4x10 at 2 ohms), sounds great.
