MB LMTube VPF stuck full on?

I was wondering if anyone else had seen this behavior. Took the LMTube to a gig this am running a new bass. I had tried it through the head last night and it sounded fine. I noticed when I set up that it looked like the VPF knob had been pushed into the face plate (was shorter than the VLE next to it). When it was on my cart it had a bag on top, but didn't think it was that heavy. At any rate, I had a devil of a time getting anything other than a huge bass tone - no mids. It was kinda like the VPF knob was dimed (even though it was off). Unfortunately it was a short and hectic gig with no time to really dial anything in so I pumped the mids on my bass and muddled through the show. Before the second show of the day I tried pulling the knob out a bit and spun it back and forth a few times. At the second gig it seemed back to normal.

Anyone seen/heard anything like this before?

Even light weight amps need protection during transport. I think you'll find that the pot has been broken and will need to be replaced. It's tech time - sorry.

Actually it seems to be fine now. Maybe it was just some very odd room dynamics. It stays in its bag, but I'm with you on the knob protection. One thing I liked about my old AMB-500 - the outer case protected the knobs from most impacts. Seems only GK incorporates any type of physical protection for the knobs on micro amps.
