I am quite certain I am getting the M6 anyone want to argue for the redhead? I did like the SWR also. Any thoughts are welcome.

If you like the MB better get the MB. Why should anyone try to convince you otherwise?

The redhead is an amp with a lot of shortcomings: The speaker cabinet can't keep up with the amp, even though the amp is underpowered. It isn't very loud when it starts clipping. It is weak on the low end, and a bit mid-shy. The pots tend to get a little noisy over time. It has a top end that is harsh and is pretty tough to tame.

I'll never sell mine.

thanks,

I was just seeing if there were any thoughts on the redhead that could swing me back to the redhead. I guess I am touching all bases before I drop $1300.(I did find a pristine used redhead for 999)

The SWR is a fine amp, but a muuuch different flavor than the M6.
