mb210.....350 or 500w?

can someone explain to me if the mb210 is 350 or 500 watts?

i bought it thinking it was 500 but apparently its only 500 with a cab

im assuming this has to do with ohms and maths so......im confused

350 when just using the combo. It drops to 4 ohms putting out 500 whats when used with a 8ohm cab.

so does that mean i could just get a really cheap 8ohm cab, and not even use it if its bad enough to get 500w?

The extension cab won't get a full 500 watts, that will be split between the 2x10s and whatever you ad. GK makes the MBE series of extension cabs that are specifically designed to match with your MB210. I would look into those.

And that's why you need to read the FAQ. Extensively.
You're assuming that how many watts your amp puts out is a major concern. It isn't. Of all the factors that influence your tone and output levels the power that the amp is delivering is one of the least significant.
