Not sure what you mean by "overloading" your preamp, that's a gain issue, and adding more gain is NOT the answer. Maybe you could re-word the question.

I also dont understand what you mean. Switched the head out for a newer model? IIRC, the head hasnt changed in the combos yet.

By overloading, do you mean the limit lights are flickering on your power amp?

well on the combo when it turns on, there is a light around the power button. it goes from red to blue. when i blew my tweeter it just flickered at pink for a while until i shut the tweeter off.

so i had my vt bass and FF going and i guess had too much gain and it just stopped putting out any kind of noise, and it stayed at pink.

so i shut it off and waited a few hours, and it works fine.

so im wondering how i can get more volume out of it, i already added a gk 410mbe cab.

That light I believe is the limit of your power amp. What are the settings you have on the preamp? Gain? Boost? Master?

What Im guessing is that the limiter kicked in because it was clipping and it cut power. It did what it was supposed to do.

So right now you have the MB210 and the 410 MBE cab hooked up, so you are gettting the max power out of your amp. You are getting the full 500 watts.

What type of music do you play and where did this happen? Im curious to what you were doing where you were clipping your 500 watt amp.

Adding the speakers is how you add volume, so you're good, If your amp isn't working properly, take it in to an amp tech for sevice. otherwise, read up on gain stages, and how to adjust your pedals to "unity".
