Mesa

Yesterday I heard this guy at GC blasting some Mesa heads and cabs... the M3 and M6 I think and the PH410 and PH212.. Holy wow they sounded good.. The M6 into the 410 was loud and nice. I liked the 212, but I think 2 of the 212 would be ideal. Just, wow are they expensive... I'm wondering, does anyone here use a Mesa head into Fearful cabs? I do like my Orange TB500, but I'm always on the hunt for the next best thing.. I'm thinking I might move into the greenboy cabs and I'm wondering if I should go a different direction than my Orange head too...

Hand made in USA, great tone, very good resale. I love my Mesa gear, and yes it is not cheap, but man is it worth it (to me every penny). Built like a tank, sounds ohh so sweet.

I have the 4-12 and the 2-15 both cabs sound great.

I run a Mesa M9>>>>LDS 15/6 which is very similar to a fEarful (uses the same 3015LF driver with an 18sound 6" mid). I absolutely love this setup. The Mesa Carbine heads are not high-passed like most heads and they are very conservatively rated in terms of power. The match is supreme for clear, deep lows because the fEarful (and similar ) cabs (unlike most stock cabs including Mesas) CAN actually project those lows at gig volume. Not everyone likes or wants that, but I do, in spades. If you want deep, clear and wide low end with no compromise in the mids or highs this pairing will deliver.
