Mesa BB 750 question???

Should the "mute" function on this amp kill the signal coming out of the DI? I was using this head last night and hit the mute on the footswitch. It killed the sound coming from the cabinet but my tuning was coming out of the FOH very nicely.

The light on the head for "mute" was lit up but still, I was "tuning-up" in the PA.

Is this normal???

no the mute does not mute the d.i....which is why most will use the tuner as a mute to cut the signal before it hits the amp

IIRC, with the DI set to pre-EQ, the mute doesn't work for the DI send, but does in the post-EQ setting... I ran mine in post-EQ when I had it, and it's DI send sounded very good...
