mesa bb750 problem

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently bought a bb750,sounds deep and loud,perfect sound,but I got a problem with this head.
everytime I plug my footswitch in,the "tunermute" on the head lights up automatically, and the head goes quiet, however times I push the "tunermute" buttom on the footswitch, the mute still there lighting.
I have tried disconnect the footswitch on the footswitch end,but still muted, but once I unplug from the head end,the mute go away, amp sounds again.
Plz help me

Use a STEREO cable from the footswitch to the amp. Otherwise you'll have the problem you've described. Glad I could help.

Heh, don't blame yourself.

Honestly, I would have thought the footswitch would function fine with an instrument cable and simply only provide function to one of the buttons. But apparently that's not the way it works. I actually had to try it myself, and sure enough the mute gets stuck on when using an instrument cable.
