I was wondering whether anyone in this forum dealt with this cab before. I found an offer on craigslist, luckily, in the same town I'm in, for a Mesa Boogie 1x15 Road ready cab for 200$, and I'm very tempted to go get it. Can my Peavey 200watt 4ohm head work for this cab? How does it sound exactly? thanks! Does anyone have any opinions of it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They are loud, articulate, and musical. For $200 you can't go wrong, but make sure it has the original EV driver. A convenient bonus would be for it to still have its casters. If you can haul it, you won't be disappointed.

The only way to know for sure is to take it out, but that is a pain. Test it before you buy it. Listen to it at low volume as much as high volume. It'll do you little good to have the original speaker if it is failing. A re-cone job for it by a pro costs about $200.
But as I said before, you can hardly go wrong at $200. That is a bullet-proof cabinet.
