| I've heard stories of blown drivers in the Powerhouse 115, too. But after some hands on experience, I don't share the concern.
I've got a PH115 and a Road Ready115 (pretty much the same design as the Diesels with the EV driver). They are different cabs, altogether. I have had no problems whatever with the Powerhouse 15 taking as much power as I can give it without any sign of strain or farting out. It came to me used and I've used it about 6 months with great results. The tweeter is very sweet - the combination provides a lot of different sounds with the User Control function (variable crossover and tweeter attenuation). I was seriously looking for a deal on another PH 115 until I ran across a deal on the RR 115 I couldn't refuse.
The Road Ready (and Diesel) are a totally different box than the Powerhouse. First off, the EV won't take nearly as much power as the PH. But on the positive side, even without a horn, the RR somehow puts out very nice highs (When I first plugged it in, I actually looked for the tweeter just to be sure.).
Long story short - I'd recommend either cabinet, but I definitely feel comfortable with the Mesa 15 in the Powerhouse cab.
