Mesa Boogie Buster 200 - YouTube

The tone of the head starts at 1:50 ... It is a very clean but thick sounding all tube head as are the other MESA all tube heads, such as the D-180, BASS 400 and 400+. They are based on the Fender tone stack and you can get an overdriven tone you just have to bring the preamp up until it starts to distort, use the master volume to fill the size of the room and dig in! Cheers.

Had a 400+ and liked it a lot. May end up with one of these down the line to have a tube counterpart to my acoustic 370. Mesa makes awesome bass gear, I have yet to hear better sounding bass cabs for what I like than mesa.

There are several threads about the Buster, look for those. The Buster is an awesome amp, and some compare it to a "solid state" sounding tube amp, which is somewhat true, as it's quick and clean- but I've never heard a solid state head with as much depth and character as the Buster.

I agree with RB. IMHO, the best amp I ever played through (tube or SS). That said, it may not be YOUR cup of tea. As a point of reference, if you like the sound of an SVT, my guess is the Buster will not be for you.
If you do get the Buster, get a hold of the manual. The tone stack takes some getting used to and the recommended presets in the manual are very useful.
