Mesa-Boogie M-Pulse 600 & Berg NV 412

Hi guys,

If anyone out there is running an M-Pulse 600 through a Berg NV 412, I'd love to hear from you, please. It would be even better if you routinely play a 'P' or 'J' through it, too.

I've all but decided that the Good Lord himself needs me to have this rig and that the Archangel Gabiel designed it specifically for me, so that I can play like Bryan Adams; Tim B Schmitt/Eagles; Bob Seger AND Kenny Rogers; Kris Kristofferson; Charlie Pride; Glen Campbell.......

You know: thick, rich, fat, warm, smooth, full, juicy, round, deep bass with a massive yet clear and defined bottom.....

I've spent so much time researching this while I've been 'snowed-in' that I've just about forgotten what my girlfriend looks like, but before I sell a kidney to buy the kit, I'd really like to hear from people who have first-hand knowledge of both of these, please.

Thanks guys.

That rig would absolutely kill.

From your stated goals, I think you'll be good to go... My main gigging amp is the M-pulse 600, and it is an impressive piece of gear... I've played many, many amps, and consider this one to be as vesatile as it gets - while not having the potential reliability problems of some other versatile amps...

Regarding cabs to go with it - I'd say either a Berg 215 or Mesa 215 could do what you're describing quite well, also - as could Mesa's 412... I don't think there's a bad combination in any of that...

I gigged a M-Pulse 600 for years... I think you'll love it.

Fantastic!

Georgestrings- I would love a Berg 215, but as I'm sure you know, they are no longer being produced......
