Mesa Boogie M-Pulse 600 Question

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got ahold of a Mesa Boogie M-Pulse 600 in case for decently cheap. The amp is in amazing shape, only one issue, I usually run a 4x10 and 1x15 cab set up for live and practice, for shnits and giggles sir wiggles unhooked the 15 and noticed now my head just ... keeps depleting volume. Even when everything is up and hooked up. Didn't make sense to me because with less cabs, shouldn't the 4x10 shine?

Are my tubes going whack?

So you unplugged one cab and it got quieter, and...
You're asking what's wrong with it?

I hooked the cabs back up, and I still have the lack of power that I hod before singling the cabs. Sorry for the confusion.

Do a search for the pairing of a 1x15 with a 4x10. Do a battery test on both of the cabinets to ensure both working and that the 15 isn't fried.

Sure you didn't wind up with the speaker cable to the 115 going bad. Too many people pull cables out with the wire instead of grasping the connectors?
