I can't wait to plug this amp in. I have the Walkabout that can stay in the Scout cabinet now. I never really cared for repeatedly removing the head out of the Scout cabinet. So I solved that concern with the purchase of the M9. The M9 will be driving a B410 and B212 Avatars cabinets.

If anyone has any suggestions or experience with the M9 I would surely appreciate it.

There is an M9 thread in this section with loads of great info...

I have the Scout and the M 9. Both great bass products from Mesa. I love the Scout and use it often but when I am doing outdoor or large venue shows I use the M 9 with a 4 Ohm Goliath and a P Bass.

The M 9 is a versatile head with a ton of headroom and volume. I am very happy with this head..its exactly what I was looking for....

I just got mine on Saturday . . .

Man, what an amp! TONS of headroom, great basic tone, and a heap of flexibilty due to the voices, graphic EQ, and basic tone controls.

It will take me several gigs before I start to utilize everything this amp has to offer.

You are going to LOVE it. Go easy on the master volume at first. It's got a LOT of power there.
