I would suggest 2 ohm stable M9 which can be had for a steal in the classifieds and and running both your mesa cabs.
Actually, the EQ on the amp is flat, I adjust from my basses for different sounds. Yeah, we are loud, but I wouldn't call it extreme. Our sound man is ok with my stage volume. I can see trading the 410 for a 412, but I've had 810s & 610s in the past and they worked, but they didn't have the oomph that I'm getting with this cab. I'm gonna keep working with this cab and adjusting my settings.

Trust me, bro, I will let you know if I destroy that 15"! LOL!

I swear I'm not wishing it on you, but I give that 15 six months of life, if that... There's a PH1000 at my rehearsal space right now that's been thru several of it's 15s... I kinda doubt it's going to get another one, but I don't really care since it isn't mine...

Just a guess, but I'm thinking that none of those 610s and 810s you've had in the past were Mesa cabs - please correct me if I'm wrong, though...

If you do blow the 15 I bet one of those new neo long Xmax 15s would be a durable replacement.

There's also an older RR 115 there - I'm thinking about loading it with a 3015 and seeing how that works out...

I reloaded my diesel 115's with 3015's: that worked really well, IMO.
Faital also make a 15 that would likely work well....

+1 on the Faital. I think they are incredibly good.

BTW, I finally gave in to curiosity and have an M3 on the way, in part based on your excellent review, Chef.

The M3 is a pretty nice lil piece.
If the Walkabout had "the same 300 watts," I'd have no complaints with it.

Nope. Ampeg 610 & 810s and I had an Epifani 610. I blew up the Ampeg 610 and sold the 810. I also sold the Epi 610...

Yeah, I figured that, based on your post - here's what I currently have:

...before that, I had these:

...all 3 of those cabs smoke the PH1200 - so does the PH412...

I pulled the head from my Buster 210 to troubleshoot a no sound issue. I forgot I had the speaker mute on. D'oh!

I'm finally committing to a head case, especially since the cabinet sold almost immediately in the classifieds. The head is currently resting on my B-15 dolly on the B-12XTC. With the BATT acting as the preamp this thing is sweet but pushing the Buster solo into a light power tube breakup is just heavenly.

My Mesa/Boogie PowerHouse 2x15 EV cabinet, sounds awesome and when fed by the Peavey it really can shake the walls and ground.

I just heard that Mesa is coming out with a new line of cabs.. Sealed!!! Vintage tone folks are gonna dig these, im thinking...
Also got more details on the new tube amps coming withing a month or so.

Prodigy - 4 @ KT88s and 3 @ 12AX7s. about 250+ watts of power. Very even sounding. Think B15 with the evenness up the whole neck of the bass but plenty of power.

Strategy – 8 @ KT88s and 3 @ 12AX7s. about 500 watts of power. 9 band graphic EQ.
