If so, anyone know how much it will cost? I looked for an email address for Mesa, but all I found was phone numbers. School 8-5, hard to find time to call them, etc...
Thanks! |

Thanks! | You should ask, but I sincerely doubt they will strip and recover.

Alternatively, how much would one of the custom finished ones cost? MSRP + custom upcharge? $1500+?? sounds a little too pricey if I can't make this a DIY! |

I'm assuming he bought the material from Mesa, but I'm not sure--I can ask him, if you like.

The Walkabout in cocoa/tan would be oh so sweet.
I think it would be a nice upgrade to my Acoustic practice amp (which does pretty darn well for itself)! |

They looked absolutely killer. I think that it was in the Bergantino V3 thread. If mine wasn't in perfect condition I would look into something like that. Heck, shipping to and from Petaluma, at least for me, would be something like $50-60 each way.

That was easy enough. I've never applied tolex or a non-spray finish before, so it might be a bit of an adventure.
Only thing about the Walkabout Scout that I don't dig is the esthetics... |

I usually do not care too much about cab aesthetics, but geez, that black cab with the tan grill looks go-ood !
I wonder if you can just buy grills from Mesa ?? anyone know ? I know an artist rep up there in Petaluma, maybe I need to give him a call and see whats up with WA grills.
enjoy!
