Mesa Cab found locally. Interested......

This cab is interesting. Opinions? It is a RH5410 rated for 1000w.

Looks like a Powerhouse 1000

Not sure if that 10 matches the rest spec wise ?

It's a Mesa alright, just not one of their best (mixing 15 and 10
s not really good).

Not a great combination of driver's and looks like one 10" has been replaced already. Poor design but try it out you might like it's sound?

It looks like a Road Ready 1000 - not one of Mesa's better big cabs... I'm actually using one of those at my rehearsal space - merely out of convenience - and it's pretty craptacular when compared to my PH215 or PH810, or the PH610 I had before those... I wouldn't pay much for one, even if it were 100% functional...

I had one.
It was likely the heaviest cab i've ever owned, we could barely handle it with 2 people.
It sounded massive, very loud and aggressive.
A bit boxy sounding without eq.
It took a crown macrotech 2400 power amp bridged (around 1400 watts) with ease.
A true monster.

The 15 will be a weak link no matter how you EQ.

Yup - just like the Ampeg 1540, the 15s tend to get toasted in these cabs... The one in my rehearsal space has been thru several 15s, infact...

Great but extremely heavy cab, I had the non roadready version and it was about 84Kg (!)
R5410 is on the input plate:

These came with EVM's (EVM15L and EVM 10M) Though the replacement looks like one of the newer Mesa Speakers, an EVM would be a better choice I guess.
