Just posting to vent. I bought it used last December and now I'm regretting it, this will be the 2nd repair on I've had to pay for.
My little Eden WTX-260, backup amp, a slight 260 watts into 4 ohms, came to the rescue. I had it turned most of the way up, but it held together great, I had no limiter problems, and made it through the 2nd set. First real front-line test of the WTX-260, it passed with flying colors.

Deets: The Mesa worked through the first set. I put it in standby for my break. I came back on 20 minutes later (Willie plays acoustic throughout the band break, so we can take a nice break). I un-mute, nothing. They're playing the first song without me. Pull pedal board out of the loop, tried another cable, tried the back up bass, then pulled out the Eden and had sound. First song with the new rig online- a song where I *solo* in the intro. No problem, effects sounded good, then right at the end of the solo I hit a nasty clam on the way out - bummer. But I got the Eden dialed in pretty quickly and we finished strong, the last 6 songs were the best of the night.
So "Whew!" on having a backup and not having to go SansAmp-> monitors. Also it brings to mind a thread I saw a while ago about having been bringing too much amp to their gigs... 260 watts covered a gig for the 600 watt Mesa. <Rationalization to keep large amps> But the drummer last night has a light touch, and the room was good for bass. A heavier hitting drummer, a crummy room, I might be posting how the Eden just didn't cut it. </Rationalization>
