I'm sure there is a thread on TB about the players using an M9 with a Uber 410 cab...I just haven't found it. I'm thinking this could be a devastating combination. For those of you who use this combination would you please let me know your thoughts and in what type of situations you use this set up? Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

It is a devastating combination - I use it and love it. They low-mid focus of the Uber cabs really bring out the natural punch and quickness of the Carbine heads IMO... overall they just match each other extremely well. If you visit my band page (www.thehandofmidasband.com), most of those songs were recorded with that rig.

Uber 410

Thanks KsPiNeSh. Since the Uber cab uses neo speakers do you get any of that upper mid honky nasally sound that's so inherent with neos?

Nope, not one bit. The Genz guys have said that one of their specific goals for the Uber cabs was to avoid the honk, and IMO and IME they more than succeeded

Small thread hijack?...

I see you have the Uber410 and NeoX212- how would you compare the two for tone, volume, etc?
Any personal experience and comparison between those and the Berg AE cabs also?

Thanks for your help!

Both cabs have quick response and punch in spades. To my ear, the Uber cab has an accentuated low-mid voicing and more natural "growl", a little more grunt. The NEOX is a little more even with a shinier top-end, but it has a touch of natural grind to it and a surprisingly full low range. Very forward, very present cab. Love both of them

No experience with Berg cabs.
