Sign in to disble this ad
Hey,
I just order a Mesa M9 head, but I am not sure about which cab to get. The mesa cabs are out of my budget, but I was looking at a WARWICK W611-4PRO (6x10 900watts @ 4ohm).
I am looking for one powerfull cab to use with the Mesa.
Any suggestions?
cheers

If you could find a Bergantino NV215 or NV412 or NV610, any of those would be very cool with the M9 or a PH610 would be phenomenal as well...in fact choosing amongst those cabs would be all about your tone goals.
Personally, I think I'd have to choose between the NV215 and the PH610.
A 2nd hand Accugroove Whappo Jr. or an Acme Low B-4 would probably be a great match-up as well.

I also really like the PH 412, SWR's Goliath Sr and Megoliath, Ampeg's SVT810e and SVT-410HLF, and Bergantino's NV610 and NV215... I also played a Trace Elliot 215 once that I really like - same thing with a Mesa 215...

But yeah, Mesa 412, 610; Berg 610, 215, 412 will all rule. |

Depending where you live in europe, you could contact this guy: http://fmc-audio.jimdo.com/
Top quality, very light (ex. sealed 810 with US eminence, just like the original ampeg but only with 44kg/97lbs), very good sounding and reasonable priced. |

My previous recommendations still stand, but...yeah, I'd take a Barefaced cab over an LDS IMO, if they were accessible (and affordable) here in the States. Here's a link to the Big One. Here's one to the Super Twelve.
Either will kick serious &$$!!!

I push a GS412. GS112 (x) and Mesa PH 412 Cab with mine...... Great match! |
