Anyone have any experience with these? Pros/Cons?

Is $800 a good price on a used one? I've seen very little of these and have nothing to use as reference.

Thanks again TB.

It's a great amp, and with 2 12's, should be plenty loud, with great tone. Good price too, so long as the spkrs aren't shot.

Agreed - and will add that it's probably a fairly heavy piece of gear... I'm currently using an M-pulse 600 as my main gigging amp, and couldn't be happier with it...

The amps usually go for at very minimum $600 used if not closer to $700+, so a combo for $800 is pretty decent- if you're a combo guy.

luckily I am... and I'm used to a heavier combo, my SWR is roughly 100lbs. Thanks for the input.

I use an M-Pulse600 and the amount of tonal variations you can coax out of that thing are endless. Don't be frightened by the huge eq and compression options, just experiment!

This will be heavier than 100 lbs, but sounds great.

sad news. lol

I waited too long and the amp was sold the day before I went back to get it. Kicking myself for not putting a deposit on it, ah well...

worst part is after doing some research I learned Mesa didn't make the venture series too long, there was an issue with the company making the drivers for them, and they put their effort into the walkabout combos...which are nice but just not the same. I cant find any for sale online right now... back to the drawing board I suppose.

a couple of people on here, as well as some bass players and shop owners Ive talked to have recommended Genz Benz, so i may start trying them out now.

thanks again.
