Mesa Powerhouse 1000, to buy or not?

I have a chance to pick up a used Mesa Powerhouse 1000 locally for €750 which seems like an absolute bargain. I have some reservations though, the seller said 2 of the speakers were blown in it before but he replaced them with Eminence speakers. I'm not sure what speakers Mesa use in their cabs but would the Eminence ones be better or worse?

Also, at €750, would I be foolish to pass on the opportunity to get this cab??

Did the owner order the speakers from Mesa Boogie? Because Mesa uses custom speakers. I ordered a speaker from Mesa directly, and it worked great in my PH 610. Also, 750 eu seems a bit much but i don't know the used market over there. There's a PH 1000 for $600(US) here.

He obviously didn't get them from Mesa.

ha ha! I wish. Just got off of work, I'm feeling a bit out of it and cranky.

To the OP, I would imagine that the different speakers would change the sound a bit. If it would weaken or make the sound stronger - I have no clue. I'm sure someone on here with Win ISD or something similar could plug in the specs and find out for you, though.
