I just got a MESA Scout 12 and a NIB GK MB500. Just plugged it in and WOW!
Should I keep the GK or get:
1. TCE RH450
2. AGUILAR ToneHammer500
3. GK MB500 Fusion
4. MESA Walkabout Scout Head???

I can imagine the 'best-of-both-worlds' scenario you're describing running a GK head into a couple of those Mesa Radiator cabs. They do a really good job enhancing the low end!
That said, it's all gonna come down to what really gets your 'motor revved up'!
Have fun deciding!

Have fun deciding! | Precisely! And that's why I'm asking.... I've always liked what GK does in their EQ. I love my M6.... How would you compare the "GK sound" to the Walkabout??? |

And that the Walkabout sound is the sound of a nice, throaty Harley-Davidson motorcycle engine.
Both will do a great job of getting you where you wanna go... it's just a matter of the kind of 'ride' you prefer!

: | Subjective, but I really like this analogy
I like both heads, but the Walkabout wins me over for its' brand of grit and superb eq. The GK is considerably louder, however.

Hopefully someone will chime in about the AG TH500...
Due to the excellent analogy could be $y need for the TC RH450... Hmmmm |
