| Metal Grille for Ampeg 410?

So the cloth/MDF grille on my Ampeg 410 has broken, and needs to be replaced. I used to play through a Crate cabinet that had a metal grille, which I actually really liked. It protected the speakers during transport, etc. Has anyone ever seen someone successfully replace the cloth grille on their Ampeg with a metal one? Or am I just going to have to build a new one? (At least I could make it out of plywood so it will be more durable) |
