Which Micro amp + pedal = big loud rock/funk amp?

yep...i think that's what i may be after...not so sure though. tons of new bass amps being made, hard to make a choice that will stick...and rock hard!

was thinking of the new TC stuff...Genz Benz new Streamline and Shuttle amps seem awesome, and the Mesa M9 is also scary! not to mention Markbass they get tons of praise but have many models...

i will be using a VT Bass Deluxe to fatten things up and add gain...

which of the new breed of amps will give be some big powerful tones for hard rock/funk and inhale the VT Deluxe and create some big fat awesome bass magic...of course, my fingers will do the rest...i'm wanting earth shaking booty fatness and growl with grind...

Honestly, any of the mentioned amps would be terrific. Some redundancy between the Streamliner and the VT, but that wouldn't hurt anything. My instinct would be to opt for EQ flexibility.

But really, there's no shortcut; you're going to want to bring your bass and preferably your cab (or a facsimile thereof at the music store), and see what turns your crank the most.
