Micro VR & a B100R run in Chorus?

Sign in to disble this ad
Thanks for the help I've been getting with all these questions. I really want to make a smart purchase. I love the sound I get out of my B100R. It's my tone. I need to push a bit more air. When I look at the new Portaflex it appears that $1300 may solve the problem. I was looking at another B100R but the used ones are pricey. I think $450 is a bit high. There's one on Ebay for 600! That's a lot for "as is/no warranty". I was thinking that buying a VR Micro would give me two cool sounding amps and a warranty. I could run the both of them from my chorus pedal and get a unique 15 and 210 sound. So......using the combined wisdom of the board....which option should I go with?

I'd continue to look for a second B-100R. Those prices are a bit high for used - but better deals can be found if you keep looking. In addition to Ebay, also look at GC's used site and Music Go Rounds site as well.

Hey MrMeacham, if you filed out your location in your profile, it might just trigger someone to turn you on to a B100R bargain in your area...
