might be moving...what would you keep?

I might be moving to another state later this year, so I'm thinking ahead and trying to get an idea of what I should do will all the speaker cabinets I have accumulated over the years. I'm in an apartment now, but I have storage space available, so keeping the cabs here is no big deal. I'm not sure what kind of place I'd get if/when I move, but it might be smaller than what I have now.

I currently have 3 rigs, the big one:

SVT 2-Pro (Made in USA, SLM model)
2x SWR Goliath II 4x10's

the medium one:

BX500, Avatar Cube 1x12 (Deltalite 2512), SWR WM 1x12

and the small one:

Same BX500, SWR Goliath II Jr 2x10

What would you keep, what would you sell?

I'd keep the SVT and the Avatar cabs.

Keep the SWR Goliath cabs (all 3) , the SVT, and the Carvin. Total mix and match capability for any gig, plus a practice rig. Sell the 12's. Twelves are for guitards.

Oh wait...which pieces do you like the best? Keep those. How much $ do you need to generate? Lots of questions.

It strikes me that the BX500 with one of the 410's would work fine for the medium set up and with one of the 112's for a small set up So I'd get rid of the 210 cab and maybe one of the 112 cabs. Again, a lot depends on what you like.

After much thought, believe it or not, I put both 4x10's up on CL. I really don't need that much speaker...The 2x10 just sounds fantastic by itself, powered by the BX500, and can get pretty friggin loud. The 1x12's are just out of this world. I haven't tried them with the SVT yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so tonight. I'm surprised I haven't thought of trying that combo before...

Oh, yea! Absolutely, I'll miss them both. This stack can literally crush cars. But this is how life goes. I'm not in a band right now, and if I ever do get into one, it most likely won't be huge enough for me to need these cabs anymore.

But if they don't sell, they don't sell....if the place I find can allow me to store them, great! I'm actually leaning more towards a home than an apartment, anyway...which would mean having a basement to my disposal...haha

Well, I tried the SVT with the 2 x 112's, and the results are quite favorable. The Avatar has a Deltalite 2512 in it, the SWR WM's cab has the original Celestion K12T-200 driver in it...which is most definitely the limiting factor of the rig. The Celestion was farting out a bit here & there on the B string, the Deltalite was smooth as glass. I even used each cab by itself driven by the SVT, and the Deltalite held it's own the whole way through. Definitely need to get another one of those speakers. And to be honest, the 2 12's weren't at all quieter than a single 4x10, not as deep and thunderous, but just as loud.

Keep the 2 Pro and the 2 4x10s. Sell the rest.

Regret's a B!t$#, I'd store what you're not using if you can find a free space (somebody's attic).
If your situation changes, and you need what you sold, it's always more expensive to replace something you already had.
If you're SURE you won't need something, yeah, sell or trade it.
Good luck.
