Arrow Mini Rig

Hey guys,

I work for a prominate singer song writter in the Atlanta area and am in a full time cover band. I play from the smallest clubs with no PA support to large concert venues with tons of PA support. I have a rather large Mesa Boogie rig and I am looking to expand my rig options with a mini rig. I have narrowed my choices down to these:

Aguilar Tone Hammer -> Aguilar GS112 & GS122NT

Or

Orange Terror Bass -> Orange OBC15

I've played both and like them both equally. Maybe someone has some actual gig experiance with these products? Maybe some insider info?

Thanks for the help guys.

Totally subjective, and personal preference. Both are top quality pro rigs. I'd go Aguilar because I like their DB series cabs.

Agreed. I just respect all the posters on these forums. Hoping to get pushed in one direction or another. I'm at a 50/50 split.

I agree. On a purely practical level, I'd MUCH rather have a pair of 12s for the modularity. That 15 isn't much fun to haul up stairs IMO. YMMV.

I have an Orange Terror Bass right now and I want to switch to a Tone Hammer and two Aguilar 212s because they are easy to move and extremely versatile.

Agreed. That Aguilar rig should get comparably loud to the Orange rig, if not louder, while offering great modularity and a lot of versatility of application.

IMHO, it's a slam dunk...

My orange TT and OBC115 will shake the stage, plenty of volume and great bass tone.
