minor CL score

I picked up a G-K Backline 600 off of my local craigslist yesterday for $75, in good condition and 100% working order... I really didn't need it, as I have two other amps - but figured that for the price, I may as well get it... I have been using my 700rb-II for rehearsals, and taking it back and forth - now, I'll just leave the BL600 there and use it...

I really haven't played these amps much, but have a ton of experience with G-K's 700s, 800s, and 1001s... It doesn't seem all that much different from my 700rb-II, just a little less powerful - which is fine, because I never come close to pushing my 700 very hard at all...

Anyways, no biggie, but I thought I'd share...

Wow. Nice find at that price, George. FWIW, my BL's been solid as a rock in the several months I've owned it. Just mind the fan to make sure it actually does power up when the amp starts doing serious work.

Thanks, and thanks for the heads-up... I haven't pushed it enough to notice the fan coming on, but will in rehearsal soon... I know from experience that the fan doesn't come on all that much with my 700rb-II, but it does actually come on if I push enough volume and lows for a little while - I'll do the same with this one, and stay observant... It won't be racked for a little while, so it'll be easy to check into this...
