Modern sealed cabs

I have been searching but have not found a list of sealed cab makers and models. Aside from our well known oldies what is the selection today?

The new Ampeg PF-115HE and PF-210HE are sealed. I have the 115 and love it!

No ports in the Portaflex? Or is that port as in portable?

I think both the Berg NV 412 and NV 610 are sealed, but I'm not 100% sure. I havn't tried any of them, but they do get a lot of praise on TB.

SWR Marcus Miller GoLight is sealed AFAIK.

Not 100% sure if it's sealed or not, but the upcoming Barefaced '69er looks pretty cool.

Peavey Headliner 210 and 410 cabinets are sealed.
Guitar Center Acoustic 410 and 115 cabinets, (non neo series), are sealed.

+1 for the new Ampeg PF115 and PF210 sealed cabinets.
I've got a PF115...VERY nice cab!

The SVT210AV is sealed.

I think the 'Port' in 'Portaflex' is for Portable, but the 'Flex' is for Reflex (or ported) cabinet... FWIW, the ones I tried in GC sounded great.

Pardon my ignorance; what would be the difference between sealed and non sealed. in terms of sound and performance?

Yep. My NV610 is sealed.

In general, a sealed cab isn't quite as loud as a ported cab, but would trade that off for more extension to the bass response on the bottom.

In a ported cab, the port is tuned to a specific frequency and it generally boosts the volume of the sounds at that frequency. So, it sounds like it's giving you more bass.

My Aguilar GS410 is a ported cab. Comparing it to my Berg 610, the 410 sounds huge and ballsy on the bottom. The 610 sounds dull and flat, in comparison. But, a different perspective on the same thing is that my 410 sounds boomy and uneven and my 610 nice and even across all the strings.

When I'm playing with other people, I think the 610 sounds better. I can turn it up to get the volume on the bottom that I want and also then hear the notes on the G string well. With the 410, I have to really cut the Bass EQ knob on my amp to get a sound where the bottom has the volume I want and I can still clearly hear the higher notes.

Acoustic B410s are sealed ( offer a cheaper alternative to some of the other sweet cabinets mentioned )

I have a Hartke 210XL and it is pretty tight. Two would be great.
Cheap too.

GK 410MBE is sealed. I agree with previous poster that sealed cab is not as loud but tighter than ported. The ported NEO version sounds deeper and louder but looser on low end if you keep amp settings the same and just move speaker connection from one cab to other for a direct a/b comparison.
