| No, but you can maximize what you have. Tilt your amp at your ears so you get the mids and highs where you can hear them. Put the amp against a wall (or better yet, in a corner) to make the low end sound waves couple (twice the power).
Using these two methods, I've been fine with a 175W, 12-inch combo, playing with a drummer and a marshall half-stack. For shows, the PA does the work, while the amp is my stage monitor.
