Mounting a PF500 to Pedal Board

Any suggestions on a safe secure way to do this?

Pedal board is wood with velcro/fabric covering.

Velcro, just like the pedals. I'd probably put a couple zipties or a strap, like a dog collar or something around it for added security. They are light but maybe still heavy enough to pull the velcro loose.

I would screw it to the board from underneath, the same way you would mount it to the cabinet lid of a Portaflex cab.

I mounted mine to a rack shelf via the holes for the rubber feet. I used rubber gaskets in place of the feet.

Forgot about the portaflex lid thing, that'd work too.

I mounted my GK micro heads with velcro because they are much smaller and lighter than the PF500. Velcro did fine. 11 pounds in a 2U case, I would probably go the screw method, and put longer screws in from the bottom of the board like stiles72 said. Use it with or without the feet. Without the feet you can reuse the stock screws, with the feet will require you to make a trip to the hardware store and get them 1/2" longer or so, depending on the thickness of the pedalboard.

If it has a rack kit, you can mount rack rails to a pedalboard quite easily. See mine here:

I used a couple chunks of 3/4" plywood screwed to the pedalboard with fender washers and wood screws, then mounted rack rails to the plywood.

I put sections of poly foam mat underneath the amp to cushion it. No problems so far on about 5 gigs.

It doesn't have rack rails, but you could also mount i to a thin board like detailed above, then screw that board down into the pedal board. It depends on what the pedalboard is made of.

rpsands, what brand board is that? I like flight case boards, and that's a big one...

It is made by rondo. Total cost with bolt ons and such about 100 bones.
