For university, and, I am thinking that I don't really want to take my bass rig and my guitar amp (annoying to carry around a 410). So I am considering downsizing, trading my amps in for something I can: play my bass and guitar through at jam-level volumes, keep in my small dorm room, and not break my back (too badly anyway).

I was considering a Fender BassMan 350 watt 115 combo, I was wondering what kinda guitar tones I would get with this amp and a tube-screamer. It might be a little heavy, but that's okay.

Anyway, if anyones got any advice for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, I play mainly play classic rock, and a bit of blues/hard rock.
