Multiple Units in Effects Loop

I have been running my passive J into my rack tuner, then into my RBI, with my DBX 166 in the loop. My tuner acts like its not getting enough signal, could that be possible? Can I run the tuner in the loop, before or after the compressor? How would that work? Thanks!

I don't see why not, and it should work just fine.

Tuner would be better off run from the tuner out instead.
