My 1x15 question

Hi, I have a Lopo 1x15 cab with an Eminence Legend CB15, I really like the tone, but the cab rattles and sound a bit boomy...so I think that is time for a change

I kinda like the description of the 1x12 thats being sold by earcandy, but I'm afraid that 1x12 doesnt give the low end that I like, and that the Eminence Kappa doesn't give the tone of the Legend.

Im into vintage sound, so what do you think?
any other options are welcome....

You could just brace the cab you've got, to dampen resonance, if you are otherwise happy.
