Peavey Mark VIII, 2 Acme B4 cabs, Aria Pro II SB Elite II, Jazz Bass, SX Jazz, Spector NS2000 fretless (behind the cab), And a Spector NS2A (that in the process of a new fretjob and paint.)

Does that Peavey Mark VIII get loud enough for live performance?

Yup, pretty sweet!

I have two questions:

Do you find yourself EQing those cabs a lot? I understand they're pretty flat, like studio monitors almost. Do you bump up the low mids, and/or scoop out a lot of higher mids?

And: Do you get the volume you want? I heard they need a lot of watts.

its perfectly clean, the person who was here before me painted the concrete floor to look like tile, paint has since rubbed off in places......

Nice stuff ... But I would get a better bass head. I just played through one of those heads recently. It has sort of an atomic 70s sound to it. They have really improved transistors since that head was built.
