| The B4R is a two channel amp, you could bi-amp all of your cabs with that one head. I had a B4R and moved it along for a G-K 1001RB-II, which is lighter, but I miss the B4R. I needed me some Ampeg tone so I got a SVTII (non-pro), I love it, it is how bass should sound IMO. Thick, warm and a bit dirty! I use a VT pre-amp pedal with either head at low volume to get a bit of dirt in the tone. I heard good things about the Yamaha, but since it is SS isn't it better at a hi-fi type tone? Take care and nice rig! Cheers.
