I have a GK Goldline 1x15 and 2x10 cab. It has the cotton outliner. And so my cats like to scratch it while im not there. Where would i be able to get it refinished?

Dang, you beat me to it!
Seriously though, start by calling some local upholstery shops. Any good shop that refinishes furniture may be able to do your cabs too.

Man, I am really sorry to hear that. Seldom to I give a rats arse about gear, but the cats claws man, so so brutal. And it is their essence. What is a cat without claws, you cannot take their essence. I actually try to dictate my gear choice around said essence. Line X or Tolex only! Metal Grill only! So much more devastating anyway. I am sorry again to hear that. I had to get baby locks on all the doors in my house, my cat can open lever doors no prob.

Jesus Munji, that's just nasty. A sweet tasty bowl of antifreeze that would melt their livers would be so much more civilized.

With all the dbags paying extra for relic jobs and what not, you'd think there would be a market for this...

Get a cover for your cat

Bad Boy Bubby is a really awful movie. But it has a good cat-care suggestion that would help you avoid future cab damage.

My kits did a number on my Nemesis 4x10 combo amp a few years ago. Ripped it to shreds, in fact.

I bought a few yards of black industrial carpeting from Peavey online, then hired an upholstery guy from the local carpet store. He turned the job around within a day, and for a surprisingly good price too.

I learned my lesson. I kept the cover on whenever the amp was not in use. And I kept a squirt bottle filled with cold water nearby, for whenever the amp was exposed while I was using it...

Poor little kitties, only nine lives then poof! Is it worth recovering if they are going to attack the 'new' amp? The covers should help. I'd consider a DIY cover for some amps, and a factory-like job for others.

My cats loves to hang out in my studio so I've had to take precautions.
Stacatto is right.
I got covers for my SWR goliath cabs after I caught my cats having
a field day sharpening their weapons on my gear.
Most cover are waterproof and slippery. They won't scratch that stuff.
They absolutely love that carpet covering.

That's what they do.

Buy covers and a scratching post with catnip to keep em' busy
problem solved.

Rick

I've been thinking about a sisal covered couch, maybe a "rat fur" covered one would do as well...

I can't complain, he earns his keep in mice control!

Sounds like the cats have to go, never were of good use anyway...
