My "Commercial" moment...

Sign in to disble this ad
OK folks...I took delivery of my new Ampeg 8X10 Heritage cabinet today. Unfortunately, it presents a problem for me.

I am in the process of relocating to the West Coast (this Monday) and have already packed up everything except for my Ric (whic I plan on using on a show tonight).

So, long story short, I have decided not to play it until I get out there. Bummer I know, but what can you do??

I did, however, open the packing box to "check it out" and that is when I experienced my "moment"....

Think of the commercial that is currently out with George Takei (The Sharp Television commercial)....

My first veiwing of the cabinet was as follows:

"Oh My"!!!!

Great looking cab.....hell, who knows? Maybe Ampeg is going to FINALLY get their collective SH%T together now!?!?

Here's an idea. Return the cab for a refund, if you got it from GC etc, then buy another one when you get settled in your house. Saves you having to move it.

i love george! he totally killed on the stern show this past week.

and i love that new black grillcloth. that's the whole reason i want one. woin't be getting one, but i do love that grillcloth.

hey, when you get a chance to futz with it, maybe you could pull a speaker and see if they're using those new eminence svt speakers (legend b810).

I certainly will! I would LOVE to open it up and screw around with it but it's going to have to wait until I get moved...although they cite the "Premium Eminence" speakers...whether or not that's them is another story...

But you're right....that new grillcloth is the bomb!!

I'm going to pretend like I didn't hear that although Chuck hears everything and has probably already taken of you mind; why? because he can...

Honestly....

The only reason I said that was because I'm moving to the West Coast and he doesn't know where I live (although I bet he has ways of finding out.....he IS Chuck Norris, after all!)
