My GK MB210 & MB212 painted grills,,, before and after Pictures !!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Painted my GK combo's and just thought I would post the pictures here for all to see.

Did a heavy primer before painting the grills gloss black,, very easy.

Im sure they will get some scratches and I will have to repaint them every so often,, but personaly I think they look much cooler in black than that silver color.

I plan on getting the GK MB112 in the next few weeks,, thats guna get painted as well.

Cheers
Davyo

I've done the same with my Neo 212-II's, but in flat black. I'll have to get some better photo evidence.

Very cool! I might have to do this myself if I wind up with an MB210 this summer.

Was going to do this, but I'll wait until my warranty expires.
I even thought about selling my MB210 for various reasons, but
now that Neo has gone all crazy, I'll be hanging onto mine.

I have an MB210 and liked the gray grill until I saw your paint job. That looks great, it makes the speakers pop out.

Hey, HailCorduroy, I see yer from Hendersonville, NC. One of my bands (Wishful Thinking w/ Red Fraley) has a gig there, August 12. I don't know where yet, or if it's a private thing. I'll find out.

I love the Blue Ridge and Smokies.

Davyo...did you just take the grills off and remove the logo, then paint directly over the silver? Any primer or anything? Looks really good. I have the MB210 and the 210MBE...you got me thinking of painting mine.
