is my little ibanez amp dead :(

i bought an ibanez bass amp a year ago for 250 usd and today sadly it died ( i think ) i put my chord on my bass turned the amp on and it sounded like really really loud distortion when i play , like when i but the volume to max the bass and mid to max i can hear my bass but its this loud scratching kinda distortion kinda noise thing :P have u guys ever overcome this before? if so is it fixable?

Could be a blown speaker???
Which Ibanez amp is it?
Can you try the amp running into a different speaker cab? -to check if it's the amp or speaker.
