My new 112 cabs

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey fellow bassists,

I've been read-only in this forum for a long time. I thought let's become a member here and show my new cabs!

They were made on my request by the Dutch company Kool & Elfring. Normally they only make guitar cabs, these are the first bass 112 cabs they've made.

I was gassing for cabs a long time, and read hundreds of posts here. Finally I decided to contact them because I wanted something that not only sounds great, but also looks good in my living room

The celestion green neo bass speakers fit into the same box as their guitar cabs. I could choose a color and a grill fabric. I think the white goes very nice with my white jazz bass.

The sound is very nice too. I can only compare with my previous 30w hartke combo. Now my jazz really comes to life. At home I have only connected the upper cab, and for shows I use both, and it goes very loud!

The company thinks of introducing a range of bass cabs soon, 410, 115, and these 112's. So if you want something unique, look out for it.

I'm not connected in any way with the company so I'm not going to post links or more.

What do you guys think?

Ruud

Very attractive cabs. Kind of gives off a "clean" feeling. Even the logo looks cool.

I thought I had tried virtually all single 12s out there.....
They look nice-what do they sound like. Any comparisons to better known 12s would help.

That's hard for me to tell because during my gassing I read only TB instead of trying them out in the shop

They contain celestions, are there any global brands using them too?
