My new bass rig...

Hey guys,

I have tried to refrain from posting this on TB but here goes: After saving up for YEARS, I have just finally upgraded from a combo amp to a head + cab for the first time. I don't go through much gear so I really want something that will last me a while, and will sound awesome in a lot of different styles. My main basses are both passive (a P and a J) so a good sounding, flexible preamp is REALLY important. NOW, the three amps I was between were the Mesa BB750, the Mesa M9, and the Aguilar DB-751. I originally went with the BB750 but now that i've heard it in the mix, i'm not sure about it anymore. Obviously i would like to spend six months tweaking the eq and getting to know this amp but unfortunately I only have two more weeks to make a decision. I need to be able to get a nice modern funk tone out of it, a fat groovy low-end kinda tone, and also a nice tubey warm tone for blues, and it needs to be able to cop a solid rock tone (I am not the kinda player that has one sound). I have two weeks left to exchange it and i'm thinking the M9 or the Aguilar DB-751 may be a little more versatile, and possibly sound better in a mix. Whatever head I get will be running through a Bergantonio HS410 (4 ohm).

Suggestions/thoughts? Did I make a horrible choice going for this one over the other two heads? They all sounded so good to me it was hard to choose.
