My new rig! F1 plus ampeg svt-12he

Just got my new cabinet today. I always used 2x10 but now I'm a believer of the single 12. I only played the f1 with markbass cabinet and was afraid the hifi sound would be present with the peg. Boy was I wrong. The cab made the head sound very warm and boomy and with the vle up to about 2 o'clock it sounded even better! Loving my new set up. I will post pics shortly

good deal, but just be careful with it. the f1 can easily blow a single 12 if you're not.

The ampeg is rated 300watt rms at 8ohms so I hope it can handle it

ampeg is pretty honest about power handling, but that amp clips hard when you go past its limits and that can easily be twice as much as its rms rated power, so make sure you keep it from clipping.

I had a pair of those Ampeg cabs and really liked them. They were USA built and could handle a ton of power. They are not the most efficient cabs so they like lots of juice and sound better when pushed. I was able to use the pair with no problems in a louf three piece with a crazy loud drummer with no problems.
