My older bass rigs

OK I am not sure why I pick up all this older bass gear, but I do. Here are some combinations I have put together. I have played all of these amps and cabs on stages around town. Some have fared better than others. So here we go...

A cool little rig with a 15" Guild cab paired with an old Kustom k200 head. Gotta use the Guild JS-II! Love the two-tone Guild grill cloth.

Old and new Music Man stuff living together in perfect harmony! The 2x10 cab is good for a very small venue or practice. Gotta love the HD One-Thirty head.

Deep bass rig to rattle your soul. A P bass matched with an Acoustic 370 and a re-covered new speakered Ampeg B-18 cab. I have to warn my sons "If you turn this amp up too loud you WILL blow speakers!"

OK this is the set up I currently play out. The HD-130 is back but matched with a little more current GK 410T cab (no tweeter and thanks the gods its not covered in carpet!). It can really fill up even larger rooms quite nicely. Any one of my bass guitars will sound fine with a little bit of knob tweaking.

Once again... My name is Chris, and I have a bass problem...

Very sweet!

With problems like that, I'd be smiling too!
