My svt classic keeps messing up...what should i do?

I've had my svt classic head now for nearly two years. I've had to get the tubes changed THREE times already, so I'm thinking about selling it.
My band recently got endorsed by MESA so i was looking at getting an M9 carbine.
Does anyone know how much of a difference the sound is between the two? I know that when my svt was working, it sounded amazing, but i can't afford to buy new tubes all the time because we're constantly on tour...someone please help.

What keeps happening with the head that you need to change out the tubes 3 times? Are you taking it to the same etech each time? I have tubes in my heads from the 60's and they are still going strong...

(sorry dont have any info on the M9)

i don't know what's wrong with my head. it just blew a fuse yesterday and i took it in to get it looked at. This has happened twice before and its always been the tubes, but it's been a different tech everytime. Do you think it could have something to do with me running through a sansamp? We also play around 200-250 shows a year, I don't really know if that could be a problem though.

The reason I'm not using mesa right now is because we just got endorsed, it's not a huge endorsement, but i can get the M9 for 899 instead of 1199.

If you havnt already done this try checking your driver tubes. Had a bad driver tube once and it blew 2 power tubes before i could figure out what was wrong.
