Talking My Traynor/Peavey rig of DOOM!

Sign in to disble this ad
Just in time for halloween!

I think I've created a monster! This rig stands 6 feet tall
and I believe I'm getting around 600 watts out of it. I'm not sure what the Max 700 puts out at 2.6 ohms, but it
sure is LOUD! I just finished installing my signature white baffle in the TC412 to match my TC115 and thought I'd share!

Now the PIX!

Isn't the 15 gonna be on its limits way before the 4x12?

I doubt it. The 15 is a 400 watt rms Delta and is an 8 ohm driver.
The 412 is a 4 ohm cabinet that takes most of the power.
I think it should equal out nicely! However this IS talkbass
and I'm probly wrong! lol

Well then, how 'bout the SS Dynabass 300H, or a vintage SS Monoblock? Keep it in the family man!

Seriously loving this rig, and your signature baffles, PersonalTraynor. Might have to go this route myself with candy-flake tangerine baffles.

What's really cool is you can still add another TC115NEO. Two 15" @ 8 Ohm + a 4 Ohm 4X12 with the YBA300 going down to 2 Ohms.

Another thought, not quite as doomy, is stacking 4 TC112s, again for a total of 2 Ohms for a more modular and lighter 4X12 rig (4 X TC112 = 100 lbs vs TC412's 112 lbs).
Coolio

Thanx! and heres more eye candy!
P.S as for the DB300H I have one and use it for smaller jams
which I use my 115 or 210. I think the 412 is going to live in my living room
most of the time!
