Mystery "Ampeg" cabs

Can anyone verify if these are actually Ampeg cabs? I've never seen anything like this, save for older PA cabs. I suspect someone made Ampeg grills for these, yet, I'm intrigued.

model S48 I believe. Real, but weren't very successful.

Maybe turn one of them sideways and use it for the front center speaker with your home theater setup???

not very good. they're similar to old shure vocal masters, and definitely voiced for voice.
