NAD: Ampeg Micro VR

Just picked this up yesterday. Was trying it in the store (Long & McQuade) when another guy came in and also wanted to buy it. I took this one, he's getting one in from another store.

Great sound out of this cute little thing. I took it back to work and then went straight to rehearsal with it. I normally use the drummer's Mesa Boogie Titan but figured I'd try with this thing instead. It was working to keep up with the hard hitting drummer, Orange stack of the guitar player, plus the keys. Volume around 75% (3:00), gain around the same... but I had my bass volume backed down a bit.

It sounded great!

Here's a pic of the head hooked up to 2 Mesa Powerhouse 410s while the Ampeg cabinet enjoys the music.

Looks like a 212 and 410 though, not 2 410's...I could be wrong.

No.. you are correct. I didn't even notice. It's always so dark down there I never checked.. this is the flash from my cell phone lighting that up... first time I ever noticed it was a 212! HA

Nice! Got one and use it all the time, even at the expense of my vintage Ampeg tube heads. Sure, the tube heads rule, but for some reason, I look at that SVT, and I look at that Micro VR, and the Micro VR goes into the van
