Oh yes, finally my new toy is here!
At last!
It looks awesome, total 80s DeLorean vibe.

Anyways, I have no cab at home to try it out.
Could I plug the amp directly to my computer sound card line-in or would I fry both my card and amp?
I guess I could use the amp's DI and plug it directly to sound card's line-in, but I don't think I have the microphone-jack cable.
Is it a total NO to using amp's cab output to line-in? Even if I put the input volume on the amp really low?

Yes sir!
But seriously though, I should be able to use the amp's DI with no problem, no?

For the love of it, please only plug in your DI . I am pretty sure you shouldn't fry your card, but check with others first. Don't plug it in via the output.

Because of no load-out? I thought solid state amps don't need cabs.
Or because of the DI?

So just to be safe, can I use the amp DI to plug into my sound card?
